Today Modern Warfare 2 came out of their 3 month beta. It was a rough beta but this game shows a lot of promise. Look for a review of this new hot game soon. Here is what is in the launch patch.
- Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.
- Fix for “infinite care package” exploit.
- Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.
- Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.
- Fixes to prevent various XP hacks (including the prevention of negative XP)
This patch is for the PS3 and XBOX 360. Please don’t make us pay $60,$80, $149 for a 3 month beta ever again. You guys are better than that. I hope this game doesn’t give any of us any more game breaking problems.
