Just noticed that the Crackdown 2 demo has gone live on the Xboc Marketplace. It will run you about a gig of space and sorry but you have to be a gold member. I’ll have my opinions on this demo later today. I’m really excited as I loved the first Crackdown.

Now cliffy B showing footage of Gears Of War 3 four player co-op Gears Of War 3 is looking Epic and they will be revealing a new gameplay mode later called Berserk #E3

Peter Molyneux revealing Fable 3 it takes place 50 years after Fable 2 and is to be released October the 26th. Footage looks very good.

Crytek is now being revealed as a new microsoft game studios member. Some sort of gladiator game.

Bungie is now showing off the Halo Reach single player campaign. It looks like a shiny halo 3 at this point. I would like to see them advance things with more gameplay advancements. It’s starting to feel a little stale.

Okay I take that back, The new Melee kills are pretty epic. Now Halo dogfights in space. Freaking amazing thanks for not letting me down Bungie. These are the upgrades I was needing.

Now onto Kinect multicamera motorized tilt, now they are giving a live demo of the Kinect Hub  controller free and voice activated. Looks amazingly high tech right now. Simple, Natural, Effortless. Well that’s what he says and it looks great. Easy voice commands.  I’m liking where this is going. Only hurdle now is the price. Kinect working with facebook is interesting.

Kinect will work with windows messenger.

ESPN is coming to XBOX that’s awesome. ESPN is exclusive to XBOX 360 and it’s the community channel. Great news for a sport nut like myself. Live games and on demand games.  ESPN DVR action for the win, I’m in love. Kinect is now a lot more interesting to me. Trivia questions as you watch games and stats from espn.com. Is pretty cool. All in HD of course. Free for gold members.

6 kinect launch games, Kinectimals which is like nintendogs with much better graphics and kinect powers. My kids are going to love this.

Kinect Sports trackand field, soccer, bowling, table tennis boxing and volleyball.

Kinect Joy Ride using kinect to drive looks like tiring fun. Joy Ride looks like it will be a blast.

Kinect Adventures. Automatically lets friends jump into the game. I like how people can just go beside you and it automatically split screens for you. You even get embarrassing real pics to share with your friends. As cheesy as it looks this looks like a lot of fun.

Now the partner launch games.

Your Shape: Fitness Evolved by ubisoft. Wow the demo looks very impressive as far as even tracking her sweater. Body scanning to make the TSA blush. Trainer to the stars, Michael George is here. Collaborating with Ubisoft on Your Shape

MTV Games Dance Central from Harmonix. A game that I will never play for the safety of others. But it’s going to be a big hit. Especially with teenage girls but I can see many great videos of fat guys trying this on youtube. There is a dance teacher mode.

Kinect november 4th release date in north America

Star wards Kinect game trailer being shown. It looks bad ass but won’t be out until 2011. My geekgazm can’t wait damn you Lucas Arts.

Driving by having your hands at the 10 and 2 lets you drive, Showing Forza Motorsports 3 wow, you can check out your virtual cars with Kinect. Coming in 2011.

EA has just revealed that Battlefield Bad Company 2 will have day one DLC. It will be comprised of two maps. The Laguna Alta map playable in Conquest mode and Nelson Bay map playable in Rush mode, bringing the total number of multiplayer maps up to 10. Then a little later in March, DICE will release yet another map pack at no extra charge. With purchase of new game. Internet connection required. Which is part of EA’s plan to fight against the used game sellers. I’m split on this as If I buy a game I want access to everything on the disk. But I understand we’re they are coming from as well. This economy is tough. I would think that $5 is a much fairer price than the $15 they will charge for the DLC. But really folks. 2 maps for $15 if you buy the game is a fair price. You’ll probably end up cheaper than a new copy anyways and publishers can continue to support their games. Plus we think nothing of paying $12 for a 2 hour movie. Is $15 too much for owning some maps that you will spend who knows how many hours on.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be in stores on March 2, 2010 in North America and March 4, 2010 in Europe for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC.

Just wanted to give you a heads up that Duke Nukem 3D is the deal of the week on XBLA. It’s %50 off this week and only $400MSP. I think it’s a hell of a deal and it’s only 85mb so not a bad price for one of the greatest shooters of all time.

Spring is almost here and you know what that means. It’s almost Baseball season and as always there will be the Baseball games coming out. The first out of the shoot with a Demo is MLB 2K10. It’s amazing how real these games have gotten in the last few generations. I still remember playing baseball on my Atari 2600. The graphics are slightly better these days as you can see by the trailer below. Much better than last years somewhat (To put it kindly) disappointing 2K9.

Just a little heads up. Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is now available for sale. The above pic is the entire roster and the below is the launch trailers. I can’t wait to give this game a go. There are a lot of good games coming out in the next few months. But not many that fill the racing niche like this game. So it should do pretty well. I’ll let you know what I think of the game once I get my hands on a copy.
